Requirements for participation

Those who completed Beginners Level Course or have a similar level (can read and are acquainted with basic grammatical structures).

Programme

The curriculum will entail:

  • important colloquial grammar applied in most common conversations
  • basic literary Tibetan
  • Dharma and spoken vocabulary.

Results

You will be able to:

  • go through most important points of colloquial and literary grammar which will form stable basis
    for further learning with native Tibetan language speakers
  • see how literary Tibetan works through the example of most commonly used prayers and be
    able to understand their meaning
  • start catching some phrases from Dharma teachings.

Teacher

Anastasia Stoliarova was born in Russia, Saint-Petersburg, Anastasia graduated from Lotsawa Rinchen Zangpo Translator Program in 2014, and worked as resident translator for the first year of Basic Programme at Root Institute in 2016. She now serves as a Tibetan language teacher at Istituto Lama Tzong Khapa in Italy and gives short intensive courses in Russian and English languages around the world.
