Observed on the 15th and 30th days of the Tibetan lunar month, this puja entails making offerings and recitation of the Sutra of the Medicine Buddha, praising the eight Medicine Buddhas.

The prayers are performed in a mix of Tibetan and English.

Dedications of this highly beneficial practice can be made for:

• the success of projects

• the recovery from illness of friends or relations, and

• the blessing of the recently departed.
